# Brand rules — Subculture zine
## Physical
1. Real scans only. Paper, tape, tears, photocopy grain — all from scans.
2. No fake torn edges. If an edge can’t be a real tear, make it straight.
3. Tape is lazy, never uniform. Usually one strip. Never centred.
6. Everything sits off-axis. Rotations from 0.5° to 4°.
## Colour
10. One spot-colour band per issue. Red, here.
## Content
13. Only state what an asset or source shows. Anything else is a dashed slot.

The Hacienda opens its doors

Fifteen vendors, a rooftop bar over Clematis, and a 130-seat patio with a stage, next door to Respectable Street. Named for the Factory Records club in Manchester. Built around an olive tree from the early 1980s.

Fifteen vendors: eight restaurant stalls, five retail, four food trucks. About 500 seats in all. Rodney Mayo, on the roughly $2.5M spend: “I couldn’t afford it. I splurged.”
